Ginny Paleg, MPT, grew up in New York and attended Stuyvesant High School. She received her BS in Biology from SUNY Albany in 1984 (she found her husband here too). Ginny earned her Masters Degree in PT from Emory University and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She is NDT (Neuro-Developmental Therapy), formerly MOVE (Mobility Opportunities via Education) and TES (Threshold Electrical Stimulation) Certified. Ginny has written or co-authored numerous publications, including: Ask the Expert in Exceptional Parent Magazine, PT Advance and Physical Therapy Products Magazine, where she is on the editorial board. Ginny is a member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and APTA, where she is on the Gov't Affairs Committe and very active in Reimbursement for Equipment Issues. She has guest lectured at annual conferences of the APTA, Abilities Expo, World Congress on Disabilities, International Seating Symposium, RESNA, Medtrade and others.
Ms. Paleg worked for two years on staff at NIH as an officer in the Public Health Service. She worked part-time and full time over the next five years for 0-5 school and home based programs. During this time she spent a lot of time with her own two daughters (Sarah and Rachel are now 14 and 11 years old). Ginny worked at The Hospital for Sick Children in Washington, DC, a rehab center and hospital. For the past three years she has worked part time for Montgomery County Infant and Toddlers. She spends a few days a month on the road teaching continuing education courses.
Michelle L. Lange, OTR, ABDA, ATP
Michelle is an occupational therapist with 20 years of experience in the area of assistive technology. She is the former Clinical Director of The Assistive Technology Clinics of The Children's Hospital of Denver and is now in private practice. Michelle's work in assistive technology includes a broad range of roles and services. She is a well-respected lecturer, both nationally and internationally and has authored 7 book chapters and over 100 articles. Michelle is the editor of Fundamentals in Assistive Technology, 4th Edition.Michelle is on the teaching faculty of RESNA and as member of the Assistive Technology Journal Editorial Board. She is a past RESNA Secretary, Member at Large, member of the Board of Directors, Education Chair and SIG-09 Vice Chair. Michelle is also on the teaching faculty of the University of Pittsburgh for the Review Course on Assistive Technology. Michelle is on the RERC on Wheeled Mobility Advisory Board. She is also former Editor of the Technology Special Interest Section of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Michelle is a credentialed ATP and is a Senior Disability Analyst of the American Board of Disability Analysts.
